Giving Online is Easy, Convenient and Consistent
For your convenience, there are three ways to give online: debit card, automatic withdrawal or credit card.
You can make a one-time contribution or set up a recurring schedule for your tithes, offerings.
The purpose of online giving is help simply your life, while enabling you to give your tithes and offerings to the Lord on a consistent basis.
Who Gives? Friends, Members and Partners
We understand that people are at different stages in their progressive spiritual journey. At ECC, there is a way for everyone to give including: Friends, Members and Partners and all gifts are tax-deductable.
Friends: Friends attend ECC on a regular basis. Friends feel at home and are growing in their faith through attending services, small groups and other programs. Friends pray for the church, contribute through their financial gifts and serve in entry-level areas.
Members: Members enjoy the mutual commitment they give and receive at ECC. A Member is growing and maturing in their faith and desires to help others grow, too. A Member is committed to attend, pray and help fulfill the ECC vision. Members are committed to contribute through tithes and offerings and by serving the Lord in volunteer or leadership areas.
COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT GIVING ONLINE
Q. What is online giving with Paypal?
Online giving is the ability to give a donation or schedule a series of donations using your debit or credit card via Paypal to the ministry of Encounter Christ Church.
Q. Can I set up a "automatic donation?"
Yes. You can set up "recurring" or "automatic" donations. You can choose how often you would like an automatic donation to be made—weekly, every two weeks, or monthly. The funds are securely deducted when you specify via paypal. A record of your transactions are also kept in your paypal account.
Q. Is PayPal secure?
All Paypal debit or credit card information you enter and store for online giving is secure. ECC has selected PayPal as our donation tool because of its history of SECURE & SAFE transactions. Please feel free to research Paypal for yourself to confirm it's reputation. Click link below.

Q. Are there any hidden charges or fees to give online?
No. You select the dollar amount for your gift. That is the dollar amount that will be recognized as your donation. No costs or fees.
Q. Can I use my debit card or credit card?
As long as it's a MasterCard, Visa or other form of payment recognized by Paypal.

Q. If we want to help people get out of debt, why does Encounter Christ Church accept credit card donations?
Used within the parameters, debit and credit cards can be an efficient tool for payments and purchases. Many people utilize them in place of checks or cash throughout the month, and then pay off the balance in full. For these people, we offer the option of using a debit or credit card to give. We strongly discourage those who have ongoing credit card debt from exercising this option.
Q. How should I tithe if my income varies from pay period to pay period?
Depending on which is more feasible for your situation, you can handle tithing with a fluctuating income in a couple of different ways. Some people choose to give exactly one tenth of their earnings for each individual pay period. Others estimate their total earnings for the year and give a portion of the total tithe each week or month throughout the year.
Q. Can I designate my gift to a particular department or ministry?
Every dollar given to the Encounter Christ Church general fund is used to support the global mission of ECC; therefore, gifts cannot be designated or restricted for use by a specific department or ministry.
